We farm a herd of Free range pigs, which we have done since 1998. The pigs we keep are a Landrace x Duroc Sow, crossed to a Hampshire Boar.
The resulting progeny gives a first class pork product. They are hardy to survive life outdoors throughout the year, and have just the right amount of fat cover and marbling within the meat to make it superior to mass produced pork.
The pigs, are kept free range, and are slower growing, this slower grown pig gives much more flavour to the meat.
